The winter education conference is scheduled for February 5-6, 2008. The action packed two days will lead to 12 continuing education points and is a great networking opportunity.

Ron Farr has been named to a three year term to serve on the NFPA standards council. This appointment is a critical component of the NFPA process. Congratulations to Ron on this great achievement.
HB 4357 Dedicates May 4 to be Firefighter Memorial Day
The house and senate have approved House Bill 4357 which will create May 4 to be the fire fighter memorial day. This bill has passed both sides of the legislative process and is due to be signed by the governors office.
